Substitute Teacher

Hey there. How has your day been? I hope it was as successful the way you wanted it. My name is Kazungu Kahindi, that does not mean much now, given I am new to you. However, Antony entrusted you to my care while he is away chasing dreams and the perfect bus pictures-he’s always had a thing for the fast lane. So back to me, who am I and why did Antony trust me so much?

I am a collector of stories. I live out my life in search of great stories and experiences. I have seen things and heard things that I am sure you would like to hear. Some stories have a lesson behind them, some are just for entertainment. My belief though, is that even laughter has a lesson in it for us. What do I have to offer you in exchange for three minutes of your time? Entertainment, lessons, and a different perspective. I have been sharing my thoughts for a while on another platform and I do know I am not cut out for everyone, however, stick with me and you might learn a thing or two.

I’ve had an on-off relationship with writing. I have always wanted to use words to reach people. I took that passion and went ahead and studied law. Granted we use words, it’s just not the same. We do tell stories but not in the way that I had imagined. So this is my foray into story telling. The thing with stories is that they stay with us. the characters linger in our minds. Their motivations, though at times not apparent, make us question why we do the things we do, why we make the choices we make in life.

What do I have in my bag of stories? A mix of everything actually, from the hot and juicy stories about the human mating dance called relationships, to the odd story with the 60 year old veteran fisherman in Malindi. Come along with me and I promise to take you out of the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life.
